We have a beautiful cow buffalo hide for sale. As seen from the photos below, this buffalo robe will make an comfy bed cover or unique and versatile TV room throw blanket.
Since the pelt was taken from cow buffalo, the fur is much softer and silkier than a bull buffalo robe. (The hair on parts of a bull buffalo hide is almost as course as steel wool.) Another characteristic of a cow buffalo robe is the leather side is very supple.
The cow buffalo was raised and harvested on a ranch in the beautiful Ruby Mountains of Southwestern Montana. (The meat is in our freezer.) The robe was professionally prepared and tanned by Jordan Creek Taxidermy of Ennis, Montana. (They don’t have a website because they have plenty of work without it.) The robe is brand new and has only been used by its former occupant.
Due to the thinner hide on a cow buffalo, it is typical to have a couple of small holes in the leather which are not visible from the fur side. (See Leather Side photo.)
You can purchase this cozy buffalo robe for $850 plus shipping and insurance. The shipping cost depends on your location but should range from $17-26 for parcel post or $40-60 for priority mail. Insurance will be $12. International purchase is also available but we'll have to determine the most cost efficient mode of shipping.
