Content Development and Copy Writing

Writing the "copy", taking photos, or creating the content for a website is a separate job from developing the website's layout, structure and user interactions.

Often, our clients provide their own content.  The job for the website designer is making that content look really good on the webpage.

Tobacco Root Graffics quotes website development on a project basis.  However, because of the difficulty involved in estimating the time that will be required to mold and revise a copy writing assignment to perfection - textual content creation is billed on an hourly basis.  Photos are billed per photo used in the website or printed media.

Everything I write is long and boring!
Whether you want us to edit your text or write it from scratch, we can help you get your message out to potential clients.  We will help you keep it light, keep it brief  but keep it informative and entertain when we can.  Translating the technical into the general without losing the essence is a particular specialty.

Photos are absolutely necessary
Nothing will cross eyes faster than a page full of text with long paragraphs and no images or photos.  While you may not need to hire a high-end photographer, the photos need to be high-resolution, sharp and well-composed.  For some businesses, high-end photography is needed to help close the deal and we can help you find the right professional.  We take photos for many of our on-line store clients.  We can also provide photos from our inventory of local landscape and nature photos.

Writing and editing textual content creation is billed at $40/hour.  Most photos cost $25/each.
Why is it Important to Update Your Website?

You have an attractive website that tells your clients all about the services and/or products you provide.  What else do you need?
  1. You need a reason for clients and potential customers to come back to your website.
  2. To improve and maintain a good ranking with the search engines (Google, Yahoo! and Bing), you need to update or change the content on your website.
One of the best methods of updating your website is to provide information about your recent projects or new products.  A portfolio page, a new product page or a weblog might be the easiest solution for communicating new information and improving your search engine rankings.
